Mercedes-AMG has revealed the cabin of its highly anticipated first fully electric sports model, marking a bold step into the future of high-performance driving. This successor to the GT 4-Door Coupe rides on the dedicated AMG.EA platform designed specifically for electric powertrains. In its most potent configuration the vehicle promises more than 1000 kilowatts, equivalent to over 1360 horsepower, thanks to advanced axial electric motors that could number up to three in the top version. The base setup features two motors while the battery pack holds around 114 kilowatt-hours using cylindrical NCMA cells with direct liquid cooling for optimal efficiency and longevity.
The interior prioritizes the driver with a low seating position and controls angled directly toward the person behind the wheel. A 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster pairs with a 14-inch central touchscreen, both running the new MB.OS system tailored for AMG with unique interfaces such as AMG Special views and Track Pace telemetry for lap analysis. The 800-volt electrical architecture supports ultra-fast charging up to 850 kilowatts, allowing significant range replenishment in roughly ten minutes. Estimates suggest about 630 kilometers of range at 81 percent battery charge, making this model practical for both spirited drives and longer journeys.

Mercedes-AMG draws clear inspiration from the earlier GT XX concept while adapting elements for production readiness.
